Christmas Wish List

So, apparently it's close to Christmas.  I know, who knew?!  In case you can't tell, holiday season is not my favourite season of the year.  I stress about finding gifts, finding enough money for gifts, finding enough time to shop for the gifts.  I stress about New Year's Eve, the obligatory worst night of the year.  I stress about Christmas dinners, about how much food shall be consumed and how all that wonderful weightloss will be undone in just a few days, about whether my family can make it through the night without tearing each other a new one - yes, Christmas is a stressful time of year.

One of the only redeeming aspects of Christmas is the gift-giving.  Even though my purse strings are tight this year I always feel excited when I give my Secret Santa a present, or when the parents love what I bought them.  Despite having to fight through the crowds of people, skip lunch to save the pennies and take advantage of every offer going in the shops, presents are fun.  Strangely enough, I also love wrapping them.  Another plus.

Although I don't love the Christmas season, I do love lists.  There will be a fair amount of lists in the coming weeks as December is the time of list making and consequently I am in my heaven.  This Christmas wish list is half for the blogs' purposes and half for my own.  Mother dearest keeps asking me what I want under the tree and I can never remember, when I do I'm half way to work or it's two in the morning.  Some of the items on the list are genuine wants, others (give a guess!) are pure fantasy.

1 - CORALista, Benefit; 2 - Topshop Kimono; 3 - Topshop shirt; 4 - Pamela Love; 5 - Downton Abbey DVD; 6- Topshop tunic; 7 - Oasis Watch; 8 - Brian Atwood; 9 - David Mitchell, The Thousand Autums of Jacob de Zoet; 10 - Beyond Retro Maxi; 11 - ASOS Waterfall Maxi; 12 - Beyond Retro Dress; 13 - American Apparel Office; 14 - Beyond Retro Dress; 15 - Alexander McQueen boots

If money/practicality/law is no object, what would your ideal Christmas present be?  I'll tell you mine - a wipe of my student debt and a job!
