The Week Ahead

Sorry for the amount of streetstyle pictures in this post, I haven't seen a good editorial in a while.)

Mary Katrantzou

And this is why I love London.  Yes, a lot of the collection is unwearable and will only look good in editorials and Anna Dello Russo, but its imaginative and creative, and entirely the designer, untouched by trends and fads.

Rodarte

I'm very disappointed.  Hugely so - NYFW was one big let down.  But Rodarte saved a possibly disastrous week, with their gorgeous textures, cuts, colours and shoes.  Thank god for those sisters.  Here's hoping London will do better.  I'm looking forward to Erdem, Burberry Prorsum, Christopher Kane, Richard Nicoll, Peter Pilotto, Unique, Charles Anastase and Lousie Goldin.  So, quite a few then.

Organic by John Patrick

It's not everyday that you come across a brand or designer that does environmentally and ethically friendly fashion is a good way - a way that makes you want to buy the clothes for the clothes themselves in addition to to the good cause.

Organic by John Patrick is one such collection.  He uses recycled fabric, eco-conscious practises, and organic materials.  Not only that, but his clothes are exactly the kind of thing I want to wear, with his collection styled with great tailoring.
